[Update] Saturday 6th September 2025 – Snowden Climb Fundraiser

I am a Children and Young People’s Asthma Nurse working in the Black Country.

Our Team works very closely with The George Coller Memorial Fund and they kindly support a number of our events to provide education to our Children and families on managing asthma.

On Saturday 6th September we (Nicky Doonan a Practice Nurse in Wolverhampton; Sally Biddlecombe a Practice Nurse in Shropshire and Jane Deakin our friend (not a nurse)) shall be climbing Snowden in order to raise money for The George Coller Memorial Fund, a small charity that works tirelessly to improve outcomes for Children & Young People with Asthma.

Asthma is the most common long term condition in children in the UK, affecting 1 in 11 children. Every day 4 families are impacted by the death of a loved one from asthma.

The loss of a child to asthma, a condition often manageable with proper care, is heart breaking.

The impact extends beyond the immediate family to friends, communities, and the broader healthcare system.

We would be grateful for any donations to enable this charity to continue with the fantastic work they do.

Thank you Lisa.

The Trustees are so very grateful to Lisa and friends for her kindness and support as she prepares to embark on this mammoth task, please do sponsor this amazing Asthma Nurse who works so hard and cares so much.
